Up until Ona got out of school for the summer, Neal would nap EVERY day with relative ease and no complaints. Now, he’s not napping. Either is she…until we drive to meet Eric out for dinner. No rest for the mama:( I like naps. I’ve had them for almost 6 years and don’t want to give them up! Wah!!

Ahh, the day of park independence is closer and closer.

We drove up to Amicalola Falls this morning and took a hike to the base of the waterfall. The kids did a really great job walking, especially Ona. When we got to the base, there was a sign for the stairs up to the observation bridge saying “175 steps, strenuous.” Ona nearly ran up them! Completely by herself, up and down. I carried Neal both ways, but he was quite a trooper on the trails also. We all had a blast, it’s super cool this is just an hour and a half drive from us!

We went to make sure Neal and Ona were sleeping well and had a mild panic attack because Neal wasn’t in his bed…. the we found this in our bed.
